The Endomembrane System
A system of interconnected membranes that fills the cells interior and connects the cell bounary to the double membraned organelles. This system is used as a pathways which transports proteins in and out of the cell. The different membrane bound organelles create their own special enviroments in order to successfully carry out several complex/isolated chemical reactions without any interferences.
Lysosome-
This contains digestive enzymes that break down cell parts or substances entering by vesicles.
Transport Vesicle-
This takes lipids to the Golgi Apparatus.
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum-
Synthesizes lipids and has carious functions.
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum-
Synthesizes proteins and packages them in veicles.
Golgi Apparatus-
Modifies lipids and proteins from the ER; Sorts and packages them
Vacuole-
A sac that stores water for the cell.
